Dansens Uke ran from 3-12 June 1994, during Nasjonalballettens Nord-Norge-Turne (The Norwegian Ballet’s North Norwegian Tour) in 1994.
In Narvik, it consisted of Nasjonalballettens performance at Folkets Hus, 19:30 Sunday 12th of June, workshops with visiting folk dance instructors from Stjørdal in Trondelag, two local folk dance clubs; BUL Narvik and Narvik internasjonale folkedansklubb and a series of workshops and performances with instructors and dancers from the Nasjonalballetten (Norwegian National Ballet).
Dance students in the project Dans for barn og unge, performed in the first performance of an original choreography by Alejandro Meza, called Bélas Bro, to the music of Béla Bartok and with scenography by Anne-Guri Nedberg and Trine Paulsen.
